ScalperIQ 2.0: The Engine Under the Hood

ScalperIQ 2.0 is here - and it's the biggest update we've shipped to date. To celebrate we're running 50% off through the end of June with code SIQTWO at checkout on both Pro Monthly and Pro Annual plans.
Here's a little hack for you - enter the code SIQTWO when you sign up for a free trial. You get 14 days free, and if you decide to add payment info before your trial is up the 50% discount gets applied automatically. No automatic conversions, no credit card required to start - completely risk free. You're welcome.
Now let me share a bit of the story behind why 2.0 exists, because I think it says a lot about where we're headed.
The Plan Was Always Bigger
When we first launched ScalperIQ, Delta Flow was the only study - and it did everything. Tick ingestion, delta calculations, candidate analysis, signal rendering - it was all wired through one study. That was intentional. We wanted to get something stable into traders' hands, gather real feedback, and prove the concept before building out the full vision.
But the vision was always a suite of studies - multiple tools working together to give you different lenses into order flow. Once Delta Flow was stable and battle-tested with real users, we turned our attention to building new studies. That's when we hit the wall.
The Problem Nobody Sees
Every study on your chart that processes tick data has to iterate through every single tick to build its calculations. One study? No problem. Two studies? You're now processing every tick twice. Three? Three times. And we don't plan to stop at three.
We ran early prototypes of our new studies alongside Delta Flow and immediately felt the tax - slower chart loads, lagging updates, a generally sluggish experience. We knew we couldn't ship that. Traders need their charts responsive - especially intraday futures traders making decisions in seconds.
So we went back to the drawing board.
Untangling the Monolith
The hardest part of building 2.0 wasn't designing the new architecture - it was untangling the old one. Delta Flow had been our first and only study for months. Everything was connected to it - tick ingestion, delta calculations, candidate selection, analytics - all running through Delta Flow because at the time, Delta Flow was ScalperIQ.
We had to break it apart. Move tick processing into its own dedicated engine - what we now call the Tick Engine - and transform Delta Flow from "the thing that does everything" into just another study that consumes data from the engine. That refactor touched nearly every part of the codebase. Months of careful work to make sure nothing broke for existing users while fundamentally changing how the system works under the hood.

What Shipped in 2.0
Tick Engine
The foundation of everything. The Tick Engine processes all tick data once and makes it available to every study on your chart. Add three studies, five studies, ten - you still only pay the loading cost once. This is what makes the multi-study vision actually work without destroying your chart's performance.
It also handles license validation, global color themes, and RTH session filtering all in one place. Less settings to manage, faster charts, cleaner experience.
Phantom
Phantom detects failed breakouts by watching for price to push beyond its range without order flow confirmation. When price extends to a new high or low but delta doesn't back it up - that's a potential trap. Phantom marks these with escape bubbles so you can see them at a glance.
The community reaction has been immediate - Phantom is sneaky good at picking out pivot highs and lows. It's already becoming a favorite in the Discord.

Impact
Impact solves a problem most traders don't even realize they have. When a large aggressive order hits the DOM - say -800 delta at a price level - that's a significant event. But as price trades through that level a few more times, the delta gets diluted. That -800 becomes -150, and if you showed up late or just weren't watching, you'd never know that level mattered.
Impact marks these levels with dashed horizontal lines so they stay visible throughout the session. It's like having a memory of where the big players stepped in - even when the raw numbers have been washed away by subsequent passes through the price.

NinjaTrader 8 Support
ScalperIQ 2.0 ships with full NinjaTrader 8 support - the entire suite, all studies, same signals. If you're on NinjaTrader you now have access to the same order flow tools that MotiveWave and EdgeProX users have been running. Same subscription, same features, no compromises.
What This Means Going Forward
Here's what I'm most excited about. The Tick Engine doesn't just solve today's performance problem - it changes what's possible tomorrow. Adding a new study to the suite is now dramatically simpler. We're not spending months untangling architecture anymore - we're spending that energy where it actually matters - researching and building new ways to visualize order flow.
When you subscribe to ScalperIQ, you're not just getting Delta Flow, Phantom, and Impact. You're getting a seat in our research lab. We're constantly exploring new signals, new studies, new ways to surface the information that gives traders an edge. Everything we build plugs into the same engine, covered under the same subscription.
We're just getting started. Come hang out with us in the Discord.
